Jakarta. Hotel Indonesia Kempinski on Wednesday opened the doors to Kempi Deli, which will be selling bread, cold cuts and pastries after being shut down for 16 months as part of a relocation of facilities.

The deli is adjacent to affiliated restaurant, Paulaner Brauhaus, on the second floor of the East Mall Grand Indonesia, said Kempinski, which manages Kempi Deli, in an e-mail.

The deli and restaurant had been on the ground floor of the mall before being shuttered in January 2013. Paulaner Brauhaus had re-opened on Nov. 7.

Kempinski says that up to 30 types of European bread prepared in-house by its executive pastry chef, Jacques Poulain, are being offered at Kempi Deli, as well as cold cuts and sausage specialties produced by master butcher, Patrik Quinter, and dry pasta made by Italian chef, Gianfranco Beltrami.

The deli’s operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
